Social Media! Yes Please

I’ve had the opportunity to be a guest on this blog. To reach a broader market and audience I believe you must do what no one else is doing. Be proactive in disseminating stereotypical beliefs, and tear down the boundaries expected in your field.

Language warning! Do not click on the link if bad language offends you. The title is confronting, but I felt it matched the intensity of the examples I was using. The administrator of the blog has written that I travel the world. At this stage that is incorrect and I’ve asked him to edit that statement.

I'm interested to know what you're doing to reach a diverse and larger audience.

  2. I like to thank Simon for his gracious offer to gust post at our blog. We just received a few more great comments that certainly are making people think. I do hope everyone here knows what a wonderful blog you have here and Simon I hope will be able to share his words again with us. Kindest regards, Glenn
PS Yes the title might offend some, but it was there to make a point and most of us are adults who have more then likely heard worse in our lifetime. By the way it was picked up by a national site that is spreading it far and wide. That is the good thing to guest posting. Be well

  4. I'm right with you there, Simon, it's so important to go beyond our comfortable boundaries. I think the days that spirituality is just confined to religion and 'new age' is something we are moving beyond now. We are realizing it's a truth that comes from within and not from something external. I don't think it's just me that feels this way more and more people seem to becoming more and more open to our potential. We can choose to perceive the barriers between us, but really they are just an illusion caused by opinion... like how you say 'habit' in previous writing, we get used to barriers and don't question it so that's why it's so much more important for us to be proactive and not follow the expected route.

It's easy to stand in the dark and perceive we're alone, but all it takes is for 1 person with courage to reach out to find there is someone standing right next to us.

We have the opportunity to reach and be reached. I think the internet is amazing... I would never have found you if you hadn't had the courage to reach out with your blog. :) Thanks! It's really good to know you're out there. :)
