Is it being in love that offends you, or the desire of lovers?—Ouch!

I have these episodes which I describe as conversation with God moments. I’m not sure how else to describe them. I can have Gegu and Jesus with me, or any number of teachers, and I will hear only one voice. In this instance their knowledge merges and they teach me together. And then there’s the voice. It seems to come from within but it also surrounds me. I have a sense of direction when I’m communicating with spirit, but with the voice I am the conversation.

This excerpt dropped into a conversation I was having with Jesus, about beauty and self esteem, last November. I’ll post that soon. I’m not sure the question was mine, or whether the voice asked the question, but I felt like I was reprimanded for asking.

Why are some people gay?

For a start I’d rather not label what one person is, or is not. The question needs to be rephrased. What you suppress you create. The extreme example of this is the secular abuse in the Catholic Church. Abstinence is to go against your body’s ultimate expression of joy.

In the throes of orgasm you are free from self criticism and all partners are beautiful. You forget your bias. If both partners are willing you no longer need the illusion of love. The moment surpasses all emotion. It is after that you lose confidence: I’m too fat, too old, and what you have been raised to feel overwhelms you.

To label a person as being something is to say they’re not, what? Already you’ve isolated the person. They’re not gay. They live beside you. They have the same potential that resides within you all.

To love unconditionally is to live without fear. Two men who are lovers are no different than two people who are lovers. Is it being in love that offends you, or the desire of lovers?

If you have a question for God, Bruce Almighty, or alternate world Simon, I’ll ask Him/me/the cat. I’d like to be able to tell you I know what is happening, that God is speaking to me, but I don’t know for sure. Gegu smiles and tells me to have faith.
