Energy Healing: The Amazing Current

I encourage all my clients to think about me and ask for healing when they leave, and Suzie’s testimonial is why. I’m aware that a wave of healing flows outwards from my body continually. I see the faces of clients, some from months and years previous, in my mind throughout my day, and my body is in a healing state: my hands radiate heat, and energy flows out of them and my chest. I never turn it off.

The healing can also be transferred from client to family, friends and strangers. People connected, even distantly, to my clients can be healed, and they don’t need to be aware that someone connected to them is seeing me. It’s amazing and a blessing, but really, it’s proof that we’re not singular life forms, but consciousness.

Hi Simon,

I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated your healing and how much you have helped me.  My anxiety has reduced so much, I feel very calm and at times I have these lovely feelings of being so present with so much appreciation.  My physical symptoms have either disappeared completely or improved greatly.  I still flush when I feel that rush of adrenalin but now it’s very mild.

Since I met you I have had the most amazing dreams.  I wake feeling that something has shifted, that somehow I have settled the score somewhere.  I feel that things from long ago are being finalised and I can move forward freely.  Just after I met you I felt that the healing was continuing.  It’s been nearly a month now since our meeting and now I feel like I am plugged into this amazing current.  When I need it, all I have to do is think about it and there is this lovely sensation of warmth and healing. 

Getting in touch with my granddad was such an unexpected surprise.  I can feel him with me and it’s so emotional that when I think about it I nearly cry.  I know how much he loves me and it’s very comforting.

You have such a wonderful gift and I feel truly blessed to have been fortunate enough to have you come into my life

Authentic Energy/Spiritual Healing in 2013

Increasingly, people are looking to alternative health practitioners to heal, but recently I was asked the question, what entitles you to call yourself a healer? It’s a fair question. Many self-titled healers of modalities of energy/spiritual healing aren’t getting consistent, or any, health responses. At best, those healers are intuitive/esoteric counsellors. They’ve done a modality of healing course, but have never successfully healed illness or injury.

If you’re considering seeing an energy healer, ask for testimonials; ask questions! Do they have a professional website, a full diary? Those things won’t guarantee that the healer is legit, but word of mouth marketing will ensure that a healer who get’s results is busy, and in the digital age, a visible and professional online platform is an indicator of commitment and professionalism. An obvious red flag would be someone who promises miracles and charges exorbitantly. From observation and experience, seemingly miraculous outcomes follow no fixed pattern. I’m grateful for those results, but they still surprise me. Humility and honesty are indicators of good healers/people.

As alternative health practitioners, we owe it to the people who trust us to be transparent and honest about our successes and failures. Unfortunately, accreditation doesn’t guarantee expertise, and the quality of accreditation is ungoverned and sometimes questionable. After many years in this field, I’m aware that someone without any prior training or knowledge of energy healing is able to create a health response in another. As long as they are willing those people often make the best healers. That discovery significantly undermines the teaching of technique and modality.

If someone who knows nothing about metaphysics can create change with intention and action, then what value can we place on teaching people how to heal? It would be more beneficial to find natural healers and have seasoned and proven healers mentor them. My spirit guide has talked often about the path of no path, which in this case translates to the technique of no technique. I’d rather show people healing than tell them how to do it. Regarding energy/spiritual healing, I’m always sceptical when I hear, “this is how this works. I know what I’m doing.”  

I believe it’s misleading to use the title healer if we’re not getting consistent results. Anyone can create a warm fuzzy response in a client. At the time, the experience may feel great, but what of the long term benefits: was the illness cured, has pain been reduced, did permanent change occur? I’m aware that some clients need follow-up treatments, but if we believe that to be so we’ll not be successful with one session. Our minds are powerful, and illness and health are states of consciousness.

I agree that there are many factors contributing to health or lack of, but this article isn’t about that. I’ve also had negligible and nil responses in clients, but continue to have numerous and consistent health responses. The more that I do this the percentage of positive healings rise.

I believe, for energy/spiritual healing to be embraced by the broader community, healers must market themselves evidentially with not just one amazing healing, but with repeat and accurate testimonial. We should not use esoteric mumbo jumbo to describe what we do. Yes, that may seem judgmental and harsh, but as long as we use esoteric language we will only reach a niche market.

If we truly believe in the power of intention and or spirit, shouldn’t our goal be to connect with and excite as many people as possible about the benefits of energy/spiritual healing? Are we healers or intuitive/esoteric counsellors?

In 2012 we survived the end of the world again, and everything remains the same. Are we better healers in this new age? Has our vibration been raised—whatever that means—and if it has, other than a spiritual teacher telling us so, how will we know?

Those questions are meaningless to the majority, and it’s those people we must reach for energy healing to be credible. We can reach them with facts and straight talking. From observation and experience lots of people in the energy healing industry—and it has become an industry—are talking about concepts they don’t understand. In this field it’s okay to say, I don’t know, and clients need and demand honesty. It’s cliché, but the truth will set us free.

There’s only one certainty in energy healing, and that’s to be willing. For healers, I will heal, and for clients, I will allow myself to heal. Everything else is marketing and trimmings. How we heal isn’t important because it’s those differences that create separation. This isn’t a divine gift; it’s consciousness, potentiality, and an untapped resource that resides in us all.

Another factor that contributes to unauthentic marketing is that many in the spiritual community believe everyone can do this. Potentially, yes they can, but often when we leave it to the universe nothing happens. Our businesses don’t grow, people don’t seek us out, and practitioners become disheartened and spiral into spiritual depression. When that happens the healing becomes about the practitioners state of being and not the client’s. It’s a tough realisation, but not everyone can do this. Find something you’re great at. Everyone has a gift, the ultimate gift—the gift of life!  

The universe is most giving when we take action. Belief isn’t enough. Successful people work hard and smart. I’ve heard a succession of energy/spiritual healers and mediums and psychics retell the one miraculous healing that they did over and over. Why was there only one? This is something I’ve pondered for the past decade.

Spirit’s answer is that in those instances spirit used the healer and client’s fields of consciousness to create health. The universe is an opportunist. The healers didn’t have the faith or commitment to recreate the outcome with a different illness or injury. Every illness has a different vibration. Every cell in every living thing has a different vibration and it’s that frequency that energy/spiritual healing manipulates.

Can I prove that? No I can’t, and that’s what we should be honest about. Other than the experience—what I see, feel, intuit—I don’t know how I’m healing. Yes, I’m in partnership with spirit and the universe/field of consciousness, but I’m also aware that the living healer is the most crucial part of the partnership. The healing won’t occur without a living human participating.

Cancer, Energy Healing & Possible Reasons For a Healthy Response

In early October I saw a client in Ararat, Victoria, who had cancer in her stomach and liver. She had a 7 cm and 5 cm tumour, and after the first session booked another two days later. Unknown to me she had, from the chemotherapy, been having nose bleeds and the inside of her nose was inflamed and full of sores. The sores disappeared after the first session and, according to her, every time she felt nauseous she thought about me and the feeling subsided. Initially, she contacted my host and said, (I'm paraphrasing) “ don't think that I'm crazy, but the sores have gone,” and that made her book another session. As part of her treatment, the tumours were rescanned 5 days after. They were now 3 cm and 1 cm, and the specialist had never seen anything like it.

I've been told all this second hand and don't yet have a testimonial, but the information is accurate. I believe the tumour will completely disappear, but unfortunately the chemotherapy will continue to make the client ill. I've mentioned before that I don't have any medical training or qualification, but I've been told, and if you do know, please share, that because the tumour has shrunk, the chemo will attack a higher percentage of healthy cells.

In my last post I talked about an unsuccessful cancer healing and the possible reasons why. In this healing I believe these factors contributed to the positive outcome:

Disclosure: the client fully disclosed her illness. It surprises me how many clients come for a specific reason, but won't tell me. Testing me to see if I'll find the problem limits the healing response. Often I'll find the illness regardless, but game playing agitates me and disrupts the flow of information – cellular and anatomical images, conversations with spirit and client's energy fields – I see. I know something is off, but I can't determine what it is.

Honesty: tell me how you feel, and being sceptical is fine, but being honest about it is better. Faith without expectation benefits healing, but you don't need to have faith in me. Be honest about that. I have faith, and its my job to make believers out of sceptics.

Awareness: when client's notice an improved health change, and again, I'm surprised by how many don't, the positive energy accelerates healing.

Gratitude: be grateful :).

It's not a big list, and I encourage you to read the previous post. I don't believe we should over complicate healing, and though there are many subtle influencing factors that may or may not affect the outcome, it's difficult to collect a body of evidence to prove or disprove theories.

Energy Healing Success and Failure

This week, a lady who had a healing with me twelve months ago approached a friend and asked if I'd ever done any successful healings. My friend's response was, “yes, many.” The lady had cancer, had had a session with me and hadn't experienced a positive health response. She then visited another healer who advised her that I was a learner and wasn't connected to a divine power. Not surprisingly, he didn't heal the woman either.

I prefer to share positive stories to give people hope, but if you've come to one of my events or attended a session with me you'd hear me say, “I don't know what will happen during a healing or after, but I have faith and I'm often surprised by outcomes,” and this, “sometimes I'm not successful and I don't make excuses for this, I move on.” On the welcome page on my website is, “Although I’ve done numerous successful healings, I’ve also been unsuccessful many times. Some clients have had a nil or negligible health response.” 

I know I would’ve said these things or similar to the lady. I also would’ve discussed, even if she didn’t notice any changes to her health, booking another session. I believe, in some healings, the first healing addresses mental health issues and eases fear. A second healing may not be successful either, but many clients have had positive health outcomes after the second session.

I'm sorry that the lady has cancer, that I was unable to help her and I'm disappointed that another healer has misled her. I've heard similar judgements from alternative/spiritual healers many times and all of them aren't getting positive health responses. I could ask strangers in the street to do a healing and the recipient would feel something: tingling, warmth, a peaceful feeling, or experience immediate or gradual positive health. With modalities of energy or spiritual healing, my experience has been that accreditation doesn’t guarantee success.

I'd like everyone who came for a healing to have a positive health response, and, at times, it frustrates me this isn't the case. In my experience it's not for these reasons: belief (I’ve had success with sceptics many times), karma, soul contract, timing, or any other metaphysical reason some spiritual healers give.

We're all responsible for our past and present and in control of our future. That may seem like a heartless statement to an innocent victim of crime and illness, but I'm responsible for the death of the person who died last night in a drink driving accident. I drink, I drive, sometimes too fast, and when I was younger I drove after and while I was drinking. Potentially, I could've killed myself and someone else. I haven't driven after drinking alcohol for decades, but I've still contributed to the death-while-drink-driving vibration. 

Sometimes the habitual patterns/vibrations of generations of family and community seem insurmountable, but I'm certain that in every healing a window of opportunity is created for health to manifest. If clients monitor their thoughts and are willing, they can change lifestyle, social, emotional, and health conditions.

With all illness I've noted that there are some influencing factors that may – I say may because I've had positive responses with all these factors present – restrict success:

Medication: I'm not qualified to talk about medication, nor do I advise anyone to go off prescribed medication, but often I'm aware that treatment is affecting the immune and other natural systems of the body. I encourage clients to talk to their doctors and specialists about all health related topics.  

Desperation: I understand why people are desperate to heal or to connect with someone in spirit, but that emotion interferes with both processes. Wanting something causes tension in the subtle energy systems of mind and body, while allowing relaxes those systems.   

Expectation: I appreciate that people are excited to see me, but if you expect an outcome you may leave disappointed. Have no expectations and then be grateful for any discernible change. Gratitude is a powerful creating force.

Denial: This is tough for anyone to hear, but some people don't want to get well. This state of being is a debilitating addictive behaviour. This is different than being exhausted or overwhelmed by the struggle to be well. I have compassion for that situation and patience and hope for the person.

I believe timing and synchronicity is something we create, not the universe. The universe/field of consciousness responds to our intent, will and action, and with energy healing I only need a tiny vibrational shift/pathway to create change. The best path for this is honesty: are you afraid, are you lazy, and do you answer these questions with, “Yes, but …” No excuses, blame, or denial. It's cliché, but the truth will set you free. 

Sometimes, I'm not successful. Client's personality, circumstance and my experience may help me determine why, but I won't make excuses or mislead anyone.

In the last four weeks clients have shared these success stories: a lady booked for surgery to remove a gallstone, after one healing, is now symptom and pain free, another lady, also after one healing, believes her prolapsed uterus and bladder have repositioned and she has no discomfort during her period, a lady with suspect cells on her cervix, after one healing and further investigation is now healthy, another lady with a genetic immune system disease, after one distant healing, is symptom and pain free (she experienced excruciating spinal pain daily) and is off  the medication and steroids that were prescribed.

I’m grateful to have client’s trust and faith and I’m committed to improving and understanding my healing craft.
