Presently, I'm in Canada with Evita Ochel from Evolving beings. I've a busy schedule, so until I have some time I thought I'd share some more of my childhood with you. I love you guys. Enjoy.
My family lived in Papua New Guinea for four years. My father was a carpenter and he went to PNG to build a school. I'm not certain how old I was when we went, but I remember starting school there, so I'm guessing I was two years old. This is an anti aircraft gun from the second world war; there were lots of old wrecks - ships and planes - artillery guns, weapons, and live rounds, from the war, scattered throughout PNG and surrounding islands. I'm the little guy with the tan lines and plumbers crack!
I remember this photo being taken. My dad's friend printed the paper and the advertising on the shirts.
My brother, Richard, my cousin, Darryn, and you know who the cute one is.
My dad hung a dead snake in this tree and my mum got out of the car and almost walked into it. Not funny dad! I'm guessing the old boy slept on the couch that night. The driveway continues and circles back out to the street. One day, for some reason, my brother and I streaked around this driveway. Where do you learn to do those things?
This beautiful couple were our housekeeper and gardner. We were very spoilt and I remember smiling a lot with both of them. They've both visited me in spirit and I'm grateful for the time we spent together.
Talk soon :)
