Happy Father's Day Simon!

I've been away from home for two weeks in VIC doing healings and readings and I've neglected my blog. I always have good intentions to post regularly, but my days are long and I don't have the energy. The trip was a success and I'm grateful to new hosts and clients for trusting me and having faith. I've been advised that two clients had cysts and a suspect tumour disappear overnight and I'm confident there will be further positive responses. As always the readings were fantastic and I'm grateful to spirit for their support and love. I'll post a meatier post later. Talk soon :).

I missed my family and arrived home on father's day to be greeted by this!

Insights Into How I do Psychic Readings

Every time I do days of back to back healings and readings I experience something new. I'm still not certain how I do what I do, but I always have fun. When I hear names from spirit I sometimes hear a sounds-like name: let's say the spirit's name is Gary, I might hear Larry, Barry, Harry … I usually know if it's a sounds-like though, and I also know if the name is right. I might get the strong letter sound: the D, the M, the K for c or k.

One of the days, during the previous trip away, I heard all the names of the living people connected to clients. The following day I got all the names of the dead people, another day I hit all the middle names, and then, just to mix it up, I did a day of initials. A little crazy, and I'm not sure why. This trip I did a day of birth dates to identify spirit, and, during one reading, I saw images of rolling dices: a 1 and 6, 16th, 2 and 3, 23rd.

I'm an information guy, I see images, movie-like, of memories of a spirit's life. I see from the spirit's eyes and also as an observer. This is accompanied by fragments of dialogue. I'm also empathic to body types, illness, injury, and death. Often, what I hear in my mind I don't say. This surprises me. At times it's like I have no control over what I'm saying. I don't let this frustrate me, I simply explain to clients how I work with spirit and, mostly, they tune into the experience and our conversation and the information flows.

When I get a positive response from clients the reading flows better. This makes it difficult if the client doesn't know the spirit that's communicating. I encourage everyone to be positive and interested. There's a subtle difference between not knowing and not responding. Not responding stalls the flow of information, while not knowing allows me to get a block of information but it usually doesn't go anywhere. Spirit want to reassure us that they're still part of the family. “Hi, I'm here, but I have nothing to say.”

When a client is desperate to communicate to a particular spirit, for me, this also obstructs the information from flowing. Often, I'll connect with everyone else first before connecting with the spirit clients want to hear from. I cannot script who will turn up. If the client wants to communicate to dad, and I don't connect with dad, doesn't mean that dad's not present though.

I also slide from one spirit to the next, or jump from similar vibrations of information. I connect with John the living friend, describe his life or an incident in his life that needs healing, then slide to John, the dad in spirit, then onto the grandfather George John Smith – middle name John – then to the client's in-law's uncle John.

I may connect with living John, the client's friend, and then John's sister in law Jenny who has cancer. This will lead to Jenny's mother, who is not connected to the client, who died from lung cancer, and then to the client's grandfather, Albert, who had bowel cancer. Albert is from the client's father's side, and it's the father the client wants to connect with. The client's so desperate to connect that I cannot hear the father's name, but I see clear images: the hospital room where he died, the people that were there, the gold ring that was left to the client's brother, the tattoo on the father's forearm, the tattoo that the client got in memory of dad, …

In a recent reading I'd already spoken to three people connected to both mother and father who had died from cancer close together. I was concerned that my memory of the previous readings, as they were only days apart, would influence or hinder what I got from spirit. I needn't have worried, spirit gave me all new images and stories for the son to confirm that his parents were watching over his family and him: the flatscreen TV that had fallen a few days ago, the discussion to buy a pool table, the father's record collection and old stereo the son still played, favourite songs, and other personal information known only to the son.

I connect with and see living people the same as the dead, so sometimes' I'm not sure if it's spirit or a psychic image I'm working with. When I touch, or are near someone they 'speak' to me in my mind. As do people connected to clients. It get's a little confusing, but, mostly, clients enjoy our conversations and it all makes sense.

Every healing and readings is different and sometimes I don't get any information known to clients. I always trust that what I'm receiving is correct, even if I can't place it in the right part of the family or time period. There maybe the perception that I should know, but communicating with spirit doesn't work like that. Some clients have described that I look and talk like the spirit I'm connected to. My mannerisms are the same. This is often more important than what I'm saying.

It's always interesting, emotional and exciting. I don't know why every reading is different, but I'm always grateful to spirit for their efforts, and to clients for their trust. Talk soon :).

Things That Make Me Go Mmmm … Energy Healing, Ethics, Respect 4 Teens, & Transparency

Energy healing is still considered an alternative healing modality and because of this you should read the disclaimer on my website before making the decision to see me. This is some of what you'll find there and the information is relevant to this article:

Simon Hay does not provide medical diagnosis, or consultations related to health, medical, or psychiatric issues. Soul healing is an alternative hands-on healing method, and although there is evidence that soul healing is effective treating physical, mental, and spiritual conditions, the method is considered alternative or complementary by Western health care professionals.
By engaging with spirit, energy fields, and systems natural to each person and the Universe, Simon Hay is connecting to the subtle energy fields or spiritual bodies of the client, not the physical body which is the domain of the medical field and other allied health care professionals.

Simon Hay is not a medical doctor or other licensed health care professional, and cannot and will not provide you with any kind of medical care, treatment, or diagnosis in relation to the physical health or wellbeing of your body. Soul healing is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment from licensed and registered healthcare professionals. You should seek professional medical advice before making any health decision.

I highlighted the important bits. In all my consultations, speaking events and writings, I always disclose that I have no medical training or accreditation in any modality of healing. This, from the About page on my website: I'm not like other healers. I cannot show you a certificate or a diploma, and the only letters after my name are the ones I share with my father.

Although I have absolute faith in what I do, I'm transparent and honest about my work, and I need to be. Not for the obvious reasons of liability, but out of respect for the people who place trust in me. I have been unsuccessful many times, clients have had no discernible healing response or health change.

Tonight, a close friend told me about an incident that happened at a mind body spirit expo today. A fourteen year old girl went to have a 'free' massage with an alternative healer – let's call him altered-ego. The girl returned distressed and relayed to my friend that during the massage, altered-ego had diagnosed her to have had an assortment of health issues. I'm presuming altered-ego considers himself a medical intuitive.

After the 'free' massage and during the consult, altered-ego told the girl he could heal her if she booked a session with him, and if she couldn't commit to a treatment she could buy his book and learn to heal herself.

My friend calmed the teen down and talked to her mother. The mother challenged altered-ego, who at first denied any diagnosis', and then admitted he had diagnosed a few minor health issues. His qualification to do so, nil, nada, zip! Oh, he had accreditation in, I'd rather not say healing, or as I prefer to call it, I attended an over-priced weekend workshop and received a sheet of shiny toilet paper with my name on it.

That may annoy some practitioners of energy healing, but let's be honest. Completing a workshop and receiving a certificate of accreditation doesn't guarantee proficiency or results. It's a certificate of attendance, and that's all. I've met and continue to meet people who can heal and get results without any prior experience in or connection to energy healing. All I have to do is encourage them to try. These meetings and my own personal journey have left me sceptical of the validity of certification.

I hear these stories too often and they make it difficult for genuine healers to be taken seriously. Put aside that altered-ego's an idiot, he touched a fourteen year old without parental consent. If my clients aren't eighteen and a parent's not present I won't heal them. I ask parents to sit in on the session. Even when I do distant healing's, I ask for a parent to be in the room with the minor and parents are advised to read all the information on my website beforehand.

Being a medical intuitive, and I'm assuming that's what altered-ego thinks he is, is an abstract science/function. The information is influenced by human consciousness and I'm certain no two intuitive's would work the same. A good – and I don't know how to measure that – medical intuitive working in conjunction with a doctor or surgeon would make a formidable team.

I see, similar to dreaming, anatomical and cellular images, as a hologram projection, when I'm healing, but I don't always know what I'm seeing or why. At times 'I'm' the fluids in the body. I sense and I am 'something'. I don't know how this is possible and I don't how I'm able to get the results that I do. Intention and faith seem important, but so can be bored detachment and, “fark, I'll give this a try.”

As I have no medical training I'd rather be described as an intuitive than a medical intuitive. I'm aware that some client's consider me to be one and I have used the #medical and #intuitive hash-tag on twitter. It's complicated to fit into any one box.

If you're looking for an alternative healer, do some research. Most of my clients are via referrals, and this really is the best endorsement. I know that there are good healers who aren't as vocal or as visible as I am, but check to see if websites are professional and free of advertising. My site is informative and I keep the marketing to a minimum. Want to know how or what I do? Read all the information on my website and every article on my blog. I guess it's not an absolute, but good healers will be transparent and share everything they know.

If you've had a similar experience, please share. No names though. Contact me if you want to vent, that way we can keep our online conversations respectful. Talk soon :).

Online Friends and Writers – Dionne Lister

Hey readers and friends, today I'd like to introduce Dionne Lister to you, writer, editor, and fellow Aussie. I met Dionne on twitter and my xman-psychic senses started to tingle, this woman's freakin' awesome! This is what you'll find on her bio: Hi, I'm a writer from Sydney. I love writing and reading and entertaining people with my stories. I write web copy, articles, suspenseful short stories and my blog posts try to be funny. I've also released an action packed fantasy/adventure novel. As my tag on twitter says, “I love sharing my stories but I wish they wouldn’t keep me awake at night.”

Mmmm … I believe we can add time traveller, shapeshifter, talented artist, community builder, generous supporter of writers and friends, and dragon wrangler. Enough from me. ;)

Please tell us why you love writing, and sell your book/yourself to us.
I’ve always loved reading and writing. I love it as an escape. When I write I am totally living within the world I have created in my mind, to the point that, when I read it back I wonder where it actually came from. My perception of time changes and writing for 2 hours can feel like 30 minutes.

The writing process is actually the easiest in producing a book. The editing is hard work and the promotion even harder. I think without writing, even though I dabble in art, I would lose a very big piece of myself, one that would leave me feeling very empty.

My first book, Shadows of the Realm, is fantasy but deals with issues such as coming of age and building confidence in yourself, as well as the familiar good v’s evil. There are dragons, and animals are some of the main characters. There’s also a bit of horror thrown in for good measure (only a chapter or so)—I think that was my Stephen King influence coming out. It’s fast paced with lots of stuff going on to keep people reading. It’s been edited to death (in a good way) and the cover is so awesome—I am in awe of Robert Baird, the Sydney artist who did it for me.

If you could travel back in time and talk to yourself, what age would you be and what would you say?
I would go back to when I was 8 or 9. I had a really hard time at school and only 2 friends. I would tell myself that the kids who teased me had no idea what they were talking about and that I was just as good as everyone else. I would say, “Just wait till you grow up, you’ll find people who get you and appreciate you for who you are and the rest aren’t worth thinking about.”

If you had the opportunity to talk to high school students, what would you talk about and why?
Hmm, that’s hard because they don’t listen much to advice, so I don’t know if any of what I’d say would sink in—I remember being a teenager lol. I think I’d say, I know some of you think it’s boring to study but having no money and staying in a crap job because you’re desperate isn’t fun either, and it lasts a lot longer than school ever will.

Can you share a defining moment in your life?
The day I saw the online course for the creative writing degree I’m doing. Within 6 months of starting it, I had changed jobs and have never looked back. It has been a real turning point in my life.

What's on your bucket list that would surprise your family and friends?
I don’t have a bucket list, how boring is that? I have goals but they’re things that wouldn’t surprise anyone—like becoming a best-selling author with people actually asking me to sign a book for them (preferably one I’d written lol).

And, because we love them, do you have a ghost/supernatural story to share? Sort of. When I was 4 months pregnant with my second child, my first was only 12 months old. My 58 year old auntie had been very sick. It had happened suddenly. Anyway, my parents came over to tell me she had died that morning and I was devastated. After they left, my 12 month old son went to his room and came back with a small plush Snoopy toy. This Snoopy had originally been given to my grandfather by my deceased aunt, and when my grandparents died she gave it to me for my kids. My son had never shown an interest in this toy before. I have always wondered if it was my aunt saying goodbye.

Do you believe dragons are real?
Hmm, in my mind they are ;).
Simon says: I asked because I see dragons the same way that I see angels, and I was hoping for some company in the padded room :).

Where's Dionne?
I’m a Sydneysider who has a lot going on right now. I have two children, 4 and 5 years old, I work 3 days a week doing copy (writing) jobs, I do uni, play Oztag, touch football and do life drawing once a week. I think I’m going insane because I’ve taken too much on (or maybe I was already crazy), but I like to be busy. Promoting the book is also taking a lot of my time and I’ve convinced four book stores in Sydney to have a look, I’m even thinking of getting posters done so I’m very excited.

I’m hoping to start my second book in the Circle of Talia series after the next Session of uni finishes, in about October, as I’ve already had some inspiring feedback from the first book, Shadows of the Realm. It’s hard to be motivated when you’re not sure if you’re on the right track, but the awesome readers who have given it a go, have had wonderful things to say, so I’m keen to get on with the next one. Oh, and I also edit other people’s work for a living, I’ve recently finished Tonya Cannariato’s Dust to Blood (Red Slaves) so if you’re an indie author, check out my website for info. www.dionnelisterwriter.wordpress.com

I’d just like to thank you, Simon (a fellow Awesome Aussie), for inviting me to your space, I’ve really enjoyed my visit, and thanks to everyone who has taken the time to get to know me a little here.

Dionne, thanks for being a great guest. Readers and friends, please visit Dionne's website, follow her on twitter , friend her on Facebook, and say hi :). The dragon will bring you luck ;). You can also listen to Dionne on her Tweep Nation podcast, it's loosely based on twitter, a little crazy, a lot of fun, and for adults. I listened to an interview today and it's a great platform to connect with authors. Outstanding!

The Best Email To Get — An Unexpected Testimonial

This blog post was posted in May 2012 and then I only posted the email without any background information. I met Gail in the US in 2010 and 2011. When I returned home to Brisbane, Australia Gail contacted me and asked me to do a healing for Marcia. I was told she had cancer (I don’t recall the location of the tumour or type of cancer), was in hospice care and wasn’t expected to live.
Gail’s email to ask for the healing was brief, she paid for the session and I didn’t get a photo (which I prefer) of Marcia. I did the distant healing on the day I was contacted. There was no further correspondence between Gail and I until the shared email arrived one year later. Previously, I had wondered about the healing many times and Gail’s email was a happy surprise.
I asked why she had taken so long to notify me of this, in her words, a miracle healing. She shared that the healing outcome was unexpected and Marcia’s family didn’t want to jinx it by notifying me and celebrating.
I’ve done many healings for people with cancer and don’t believe I’ve got this positive health outcome with anyone who has been told they only have days or weeks to live. I’ve reduced tumour size, reduced the number of tumours, have had tumours disappear, and eliminated side effects of cancer treatment. I’ve not received testimonial for many of those healings, and, in the early years of my career, I rarely asked.
Recently, a journalist contacted a venue and asked why the venue was supporting someone who claimed to heal cancer. The journalist’s leading question caused the venue to withdraw support.
I don’t claim to heal cancer. I’ve had the successes that I share, publicly talk about the times clients haven’t experienced any noticeable changes and disclose that when contacted by new clients.
I expect and encourage scepticism, but rather than accusatory judgement employ curiosity and attention when investigating energy healing.
Marcia’s and other healings motivate me to investigate and improve my healing craft.

Simon,
Last year, I attended one of your workshops and became aware of the healing work that you do. At the same time I learned from my daughter and son-in-law that a friend of theirs named Marcia had cancer, was in hospice and was expected to live less than a week. I arranged for you to do a distance healing for her and told my daughter and son-in-law to let her know that healing and prayers were being offered for her. Several weeks later I asked my daughter how Marcia was doing. My daughter told me that suddenly Marcia’s tumour had disappeared and she was released from hospice to go home to be with her family. There was no medical explanation for her sudden recovery. It was a miracle healing.
Yesterday, well over a year since the healing, I asked my daughter and her husband how Marcia was doing. They said she is doing totally fine.
Simon, thank you for the love and healing that you share with the world. There are no boundaries that limit healing and the power of love. Nothing is impossible.
With great love and gratitude, Gail K

Can You Heal Me?

Recently, I've been able to post some testimonials, and I have a few more to post, but I believe it's important to also disclose that sometimes, “I can't heal you,” but you can. Gegu, my guide, tells me that I can heal every illness, but what about those times I'm unsuccessful? I don't measure my success as a healer by the outcome. If I do one hundred healing's and I get no measurable response, which doesn't happen, I know that I'll get the next one. My entire being is vibrating at knowing, my subconscious mind is silent, I know I will be successful.

I can't tell you how I heal, I can only describe my experience. It seems unfair that some people get a nil response, a cruel cosmic joke. I feel those client's anguish, but I don't dwell on it, I simply move on. I don't believe that our souls have a contract to suffer, suffering is a human vibration, not a universal one.

Sometimes a soul's journey is over, the body is no longer a healthy host. In those healing's I'm healing the person to die peacefully, so the soul can transition to wherever souls go, but souls don't choose to experience illness or injury, they choose life. The living is up to us, and is influenced by our environment: the behaviours and emotions of immediate family, including friends, generations of family, community, and the citizens of nations. Everyone, living and past.

I'm successful when:
  • Clients have no expectation. They've been referred to see me, but they're not sure what I do. They're curious, relaxed, they may even be sceptics. This is why I get good results with sceptics: they're honest, “I don't believe you can do what I've heard you can,” and they turn up.
  • I'm not directed by the client or associates. “Heal my cancer, and no, I don't want to speak to my dead father. He's a bastard!” He's here because he's a bastard, and the energy (consciousness) you share has contributed to the cancer.
  • Clients contact me. Lots of clients have experienced healing responses after visiting my website, hearing my name, holding one of my business cards, being at one of my events, speaking to me on the phone, interacting with me on social media, and thinking about me. I don't know how this is possible. Some clients 'see' me as if I'm a spirit, hear my voice, see me in their dreams, and feel physical contact that they believe is me. I'm unaware of these phenomena. I'm not consciously doing it.
  • I'm not concentrating. Strange, but true. Don't force change, allow change to manifest. Trying to heal you, is the same as wanting to be well. Don't want, be! Despite the history of your illness, despite your symptoms, heal! I don't heal you, or your illness, I just heal.

I'm unsuccessful, or get a negligible response, when:
  • Clients lie to me. It happens. Yes, I'm the first person to know that you had sex with (?), lied to (?), stole from (?), used drugs, and … There's a difference between not knowing the information I intuit, and denying it's true. Lie to me, and you may limit the healing response.
  • Clients test me. I usually sense this is happening, but if you tell me you have nothing wrong with you, but you actually have cancer, it's possible that I'll not 'see' the illness, spirit won't prompt me to look further, and the healing vibration will be deflected. I may sense there is something else to do, but I'll end up frustrated and fatigued, and you will remain ill. Be honest! Don't like me, think what I do is nonsense, you only came because your partner forced you too, tell me. You won't hurt my feelings, but you will create the opportunity for the healing to be successful.
  • Clients think they know what I'm doing. I'm generalising, but I get the worst response with spiritual people: psychics, mediums, healers, anyone who has an opinion or belief about what I'm doing. You don't know what I'm doing, I don't even know what I'm doing, I'm just doing it! Human consciousness is the main barrier to health. That, and old fashioned laziness.

Healing is the bravest journey you will embark on, but first, you have to stand up. We're more powerful than we believe. Be brave and be well.

Happy Ovulating! PCOS, yes, we can heal that!

Much of my work goes unrecorded. It doesn't feel right to ask for testimonials: clients are overwhelmed, the causes of illness are complex, the conversations I have with clients are private, and for some clients, the healing response feels like a miracle and clients simply don't know what to say, or how to feel about the experience.

R wishes to remain anonymous, but I'm grateful that she shared her healing response. In my work, this is common. I have no medical training and I don't always get this type of response, but the incidences of improved or complete health occurring are high.

I heard about Simon through a dear friend, and how great her experience was.

I had some concerns about some elements from my past that still effected me to no end, along with some concerns about my future, specifically, becoming a mother and getting married. I longed to close some doors on my past in order to live a free and positive future.

I was given closure on a few things, almost like all the burden of those emotional instances in my life had been removed completely. The memory of them remains, however, the negative emotional connection has disappeared.

I was told for the past 4 years that the dream of becoming a mother may be hindered by PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), and scarring from an operation I had had earlier. I was not able to ovulate normally or without pain.

The day after I saw Simon something amazing happened! I began to experience the normal effects of ovulation! This was confirmed by my doctor two days later who advised that there was a perfectly good medical explanation for this. One which he couldn't provide me after four years of tests and painful ovulation and other womanly episodes!

I am certain that the healing powers of Simon and friends were at work, and I look forward to my next encounter with him. xx love and light xx” ~ R, QLD, Australia

Testimonials & I need to pee ;)

Most people come to see me for a reading, and that's okay, but the most powerful aspect of my work with spirit is healing. Family and friends in spirit interact with my clients as if they're still living, and, I believe, they are. During a healing it's possible for clients to experience spirit the same way that I do: they'll hear and see spirit – in their minds or physically – feel spirit touching them, see images of past lives, and see and communicate with angels and guides.

Sheree from Ararat, Victoria, Australia, had such an experience.

I've been to Simon Hay twice now. My first healing was emotional and I wasn't really sure what to expect. After the birth of my fifth child I was going through a very emotional time in my life. Everything seemed to be going wrong. I was unhappy, always angry with the kids, my mum had died four and a half years ago and everything seemed to be getting me down. I took a big step and went and saw Simon. I laid on the table and cried from the minute he started to the minute he finished. Everything Simon said made me cry, but everything he said I could relate too. After the healing I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I walked away feeling free because I had talked to mum again, but a little part of me was still a bit unsure whether it was mum or just what I needed to hear at the time. It wasn't until the second healing five months later that I knew for certain it was mum.

During the second healing I had no questions or expectations, I was there to see what simon would find. Half way through the healing I could feel someone playing with my hair. I could feel my head turning towards that someone, I wanted to cuddle them, wanted them to kiss me, and it wasn't until I moved my hand to grab the hand of the person playing with my hair that I opened my eyes and it wasn't Simon. The tears slowly started rolling down my face. I knew it was mum playing with my hair like she used to do when I was younger. Not only did I get healed that day, but I got to feel my mum around me again. How I miss her everyday and, now, thanks to Simon I now have a connection with my mum.

Simon Hay is an amazing man, healer and an inspiration. Simon, thank you for all you have done for me. xo

Sheree, you're welcome and thank you. Sheree later visited her mother's grave and her mother sat with, hugged her, and played with her hair.

I received this message from K in Victoria, Australia, last month. She wishes to remain anonymous, but she was happy to share.

My name is K and I came to see you in November last year. I don't know what happened or what you did, but there are a few things that I didn't tell you about. One being that for a few months prior to seeing you I had been in and out of the doctors having x-rays, ultrasounds, internals, and even a CT scan. I had severe stomach pains all the time, and in the end I went into hospital where they went inside my stomach and found nothing. I was still having pain right up to the time when I saw you. During my healing you said that you found something inside my stomach the size of a pea and you were breaking it up. I thought to myself, hmmmm. Well I didn't think anything of it as a doctor couldn't fix me, but after getting off the table I went into the bathroom and had the biggest pee of my life that actually hurt (sorry). It was like I gave birth. I don't know if that was getting rid of the pain or what you did, but I no longer have any pains in the stomach. ????? I just want to say thank you for everything. Xxx

K, I don't know what I did either ;), but you're welcome. :)

Psychic + Cancer = Fear!

During a healing I became aware that my client had a friend who had been diagnosed with breast cancer. I was able to describe the lady and circumstance with enough detail that my client knew who I was talking about. As my hand travelled over her chest I heard, in my mind, “I'm terrified that I will get breast cancer.” I mentioned this to my client and told her that she wasn't going to get breast cancer. I assumed that she had this fear because of her friend's situation.

My left hand had stopped over her left breast and, as a hologram projection in front of me, I saw tubules of fluid and breast tissue. The experience is like travelling through space, and feels like I'm in the breast. I saw an orb of what appeared to be inflamed tissue. Often, I see anatomical and cellular images magnified so I'm not always certain how big the things I see actually are.

I told her that I believed if she was to self-massage that breast she'd find a spot about the size of her fingertip that felt tingly or tight if she pushed it. I didn't believe she had a lump, I felt she'd only discover an unusual feeling. Spirit advised that massage would correct the obstruction.

I have no medical training, and I always advise my client's of this. Any medical decision they make should be after advice from a GP or other health professional. In this case I told my client that spirit hadn't alerted me to tell her to see a GP, but if she found a lump, or was worried, she should see her doctor.

She smiled and I affirmed again that I didn't believe, and spirit hadn't told me that she had or would get cancer. I'd connected with her friend who had cancer because that experience was in her consciousness and energy field. It was also the pathway for me to heal her fear of getting cancer. She then told me that a psychic had told her she would get breast cancer and she'd been worried ever since.

I hear these stories too often and, frankly, they infuriate me. Working with psychic energy isn't an exact science, and every vibration of information is influenced to some degree by the psychic's, by the client's, by everybody connected to the client and psychic, by human consciousness: emotions, beliefs, fears, desires, intention, and action – life!

No psychic message is exact. The information is filtered through and influenced by human consciousness. Psychics, mediums and healers have to be honest about how they work. I don't know how I do and see the things that I do. The teachings that I get from spirit still come from the consciousness of someone who was once living. That pure (?) stream of information then travels through regular Joe consciousness, and I'm human!

I often get direct bad news messages from spirit, but, respectfully, I soften the delivery. Perhaps the psychic who told my client she was going to get breast cancer was inexperienced, maybe he connected with the friend and didn't realise, maybe he lacked social skills and etiquette. Whatever the case he worried someone needlessly, and that fear may have caused the cancer to appear.

Psychics, a little more tact, and less ego.

“What am I supposed to be doing with my life?”

The most common question clients ask me is, “What am I supposed to be doing with my life?” They feel that they’ve been reincarnated for some higher purpose, and if they can find out what that is, they will be happy. I always answer the same way, “Live.” Although it seems like my life has direction, I’ve created the synchronicity that is unfolding day to day. We’re in control of destiny.

If I ask Gegu, “What happens now?” He answers, “Whatever you wish.”

“Gegu, I understand that, but many people won’t.”

“You’ve allowed yourself to believe that the future is something you have no control over. You blame misfortune on others and wait for someone else to make you happy. You’re all responsible for the communities of deceit you’ve created.”

“That’s a bit harsh.”

“Is it? Does your mind not deceive you? Children who live with poverty and hunger still smile. Compassion, warmth, and a mother’s breast, comforts all new life. Do you not still have all those things?”

Gegu never raises his voice when he’s speaking to me, but his authority and wisdom causes me to choose my words carefully. He knows that sometimes I lack compassion and patience. His words aren’t intended to wound, he wants me/us to be mindful and communicate truthfully.

“You seek happiness and yet continue practices that cause despair. Stop.”

I was about to write that many will argue that change will not occur until an individual, or society is read y to change and Gegu interrupted my thoughts, “The world is ready, the earth is shouting its readiness—climate change, environmental destruction, poverty, famine, war, illness, depression, but you choose to ignore the obvious. This world doesn’t need another messenger it needs children willing to lead.”

We are the children he is referring to and he has used the description messenger because Jesus has appeared in the room. “Gegu is right, brother. I was never God’s messenger. Men needed me to be His Son, I was not. I was my mother’s son, as all of you are a mother’s child. Be brave enough to be happy and live peacefully.”
